It all began with a gift.

I write software for a living and have nurtured a passion for astronomy since I was a child. A few years ago that passion turned into astrophotography.

One evening I captured the Moon for a friend's birthday. Her reaction made me realize that emotion could be repeated. That's how La Tua Luna was born.

Frequently asked questions

Photography depends on the sky, and that's part of its authenticity. If on the chosen night the weather doesn't allow the shot, I let you know and together we pick the next clear night. If you prefer, you can get a full refund.

At the moment I only work on commission for future dates. Every shot is taken specifically for you on the night you choose.

After the shot, processing and printing time is about 7-10 working days. Shipping within Italy takes an additional 2-4 days.

Shipping is included in the price, both for Italy and EU countries. Tracked shipping with express courier.

The print is made in 40×40 cm format on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308 g/m² paper, with museum-grade pigment giclée printing. The square format best showcases the shape of the Moon, floating in the black of space as you see it in the sky.

Payment is taken at the time of booking via credit card or PayPal. If the shot is not possible due to weather and you prefer a refund, it is processed within 5 working days.

No. For about 5-7 nights per month, around the New Moon, the Moon is not visible or is too close to the Sun to be photographed at its best. The calendar on the site automatically shows which nights are available.
